We Have A Winner, Folks!!!!

So excited to tell Sherry (June 2, 5:52 p.m.) YOU HAVE WON!!!!!!!

Get me your info so I can send it to you...

And thanks again to Lauren for blessing us with her mom's story and Godliness...

I have a few posts brewing in my mind, but for now we are kid free for two hours so we are going to do something really romantic.

Like, you know, grocery shop.

Oh well, it's still a little break...

Congrats, Sherry!!!!!

Ang

P.S., If you're looking for some great reads online today, click here for my roomie in India's latest (love. it.), and here for Pete Wilson's (also in India...go Compassion!)great message about the "Art of Possibility." I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who make me look cooler and smarter than I actually am...thanks, guys.

Also, a bunch of you have asked about a Bible Study recommendation. I am going to do this one over the summer...click and read all about it!!!! Nothing like summertime with Beth Moore, a great Bible Study and Sonic mango slush. I just bought the workbook last night and it looks fabulous. It is pretty short too, so a great starting one if you are new to Bible study!

Congrats to Sherry.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm always looking for new things to study.

Be careful in the produce aisle. It can bring out the beast in couples who are kid free. :o)

I'm studying Me, Myself, and Lies this summer, too! Can't wait to read your thoughts on it!
By the way, heard that Selah was great at the "Hope On the Inside" concert last Saturday. We weren't able to go :(

They have MANGO at Sonic now? I must go!!

They're giving away free root beer floats at Sonic tonight. Not as exciting as Mango, but it's FREE!

Please update us on anything you've heard about Mohit. I'm still praying for him.

We were walking into Opry Mills a week ago, and there's this big banner with Selah's picture on it, and Jacob says, "We know him- Mr. Todd! Look Anna!" She didn't recognize him right away, so then I explained that he is Abby and Elie's Dad.. then she knew!

Hope to see you soon! It's been a long time.

Enjoy your grocery shopping!!! We actually love grocery shopping together. It's almost romantic planning our meals for the week together and every now and then splurging on a good filet mignon or salmon or fresh tuna...

And praying that you hear something about Mohit very soon - saying prayers for him and his family and everyone else there....

I'm passing that Beth Moore Study idea onto my group for next summer! This summer we are doing Esther! I'm so excited b/c I wanted to do it so badly when you were, but it's so much more fun with a group of amazing sisters in Christ!

Also, is the Mango Slush/Limeades etc. really good? I've really been hesitant to try it, but it sounds like they're quite good! Guess I might just have to give it a go!

Love you tons, Ang

Can you explain this Bible study more? Is this an onl8ne thing or something you do at home? TIA

Adam and I go grocery shopping as a date :) We're sad err... *simple* that way. When we were first living together (shocker, I know. Longish story) it was something we enjoyed doing together, and it's only continued. Plus, now, it's an hour and a half on our own without being badgered :)

Can't wait to read the new posts. I've missed you.

Thanks for the recommendations. I got my girls the Bible you recommended and every night they ask to read it. I'm heading to the store later this week to find some of your other recommendations.

Yahoo!
I am doing the summer bible study with Beth too! :)
I don't know that I will be able to get anyone around here to do it with me, so I will probably go solo, like I did last year. There are several in my church that might be interested, but time is a problem with so many of us, and trying to get together around vacations, and other commitments is near impossible as it is!

I read the book, "Self Talk, Soul Talk" that this is based on, earlier in the year, and it was really good. This is going to be a great study as a follow-up.

I have been reading your blog for a long time now... and been praying for you, through this year's anniversaries, and your India trip. I don't know that I have commented before now, but am so thankful for your ministry...
God bless you,
Heather

I thought you might get a laugh out of this: I was flipping through my latest ad from Family Christian Stores, when a guy looked familiar. I thought, "Hey! I know him!" & then realized it was Todd on the cover of the new Selah album! I don't really know him, obviously, but I feel like I do from reading your blog! :)

Haven't been signing in because I didn't think you could find it anyway! Today you can find it!
Praying right now!
Psalms 36:5-7 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

There is a point to this! lol There is a series of series by Karen Kingsbury. (Love her!) One is the Redemption series, then the Firstborn series, and then the Sunrise (I think) series. They are 14 books about two families. Anyways, one of the books has a story somewhat similar to yours (yes, I know the book is fiction and your life is not!) and in telling a friend about the book, she told me to read your blog. I got sidetracked with life and just started reading yesterday. I am well known to stay up to ridiculous hours of the night (well, morning) reading amazing books. Yesterday was the first time I did it reading a blog! I just caught up to June today. Thank you for sharing your story. And thank you for letting us continue to go along on your ride! And, sometimes, the only reason to get dressed and leave my house is to get a Sonic drink! : )
